Here are some places in the Ann Arbor area that we like to frequent, whether it be for client meetings, graphic inspiration, or to just take a break. Check out all of the “Good Stuff” they have to offer…
1. Blue Tractor
The “Texas burger”; bourbon milkshakes; multiple bbq sauces to choose from; frosty rail to keep your cellar-brewed or retro-canned beers ice cold. The Blue Tractor is an all-around awesome old-school establishment.
2. T.G.I. Friday’s
Party-like atmosphere; jukebox; Touchscreen video games; friendly staff; and Jack Daniels sauce…Need we say more?
3. Conor O’Neill’s
A traditional Irish Pub featuring The Murray Steak Sandwich (a Dave favorite); a warm and energetic staff; music trivia nights; an extensive list of beers to choose from; and a fun-loving crowd complete with traditional Irish music in the background!
4. Briarwood Mall
Auntie Anne’s Pretzels; tabletop Ms. Pacman; excellent natural lighting; and an Apple Store…Who doesn’t love the Apple Store?!
5. BABS Underground Lounge
One of Ann Arbor’s best kept secrets; local artists featured monthly throughout the establishment; pool tables; great music and exceptional staff. In true lounge fashion they have a variety of martinis and malt scotches to choose from.
6. Island Park
Surrounded by the Huron River and some fantastic scenery including bent trees, huge rocks, bridges and an old building with columns. It’s a great place to take some captivating photos!
7. Kerrytown Market
Locally grown fruits, vegetables and flowers, along with some unique shops and eateries. The perfect place to photograph the heart of Ann Arbor and it’s locals.
